I just got this computer used and it has pretty much nothing on it since its a fresh install/wipe. I get a hiss noise from my headphones when any sort of audio is played. If the sound is done after 1-2 mins it stops hissing. I have the most recent Realtek drivers. I have Dell Audio program built in. It does it with no enhancements on. Its not a power issue, hard drive issue since I have a ssd or fans noise. My OS is Windows 10 64 bit. Any help would be appreciated.

Considerable static noise on XPS13 only on Windows

I received a Dell XPS 13 (9350, i7, QHD+ touchscreen) two days ago. It is working perfectly except for the speakers, which start producing a considerable amount of static noise (different from the wide known coil whining, which is also present).
I was thinking that there could be something wrong with the speakers (wrong insulation?) since this happens even if I set the volume to mute on Windows. However, I have installed Ubuntu (from where I'm writing this) and there are no issues whatsoever with static noise, no matter how heavy the workload is (I have tried to cause a heavy CPU load, a heavy GPU load and a heavy I/O load, and all three at the same time, still no noise on Ubuntu).
I have tried to disable MaxxAudio and to update the Dell Audio driver on Windows, but the issue is still present. Turning the volume up and down does not help.
It might be useful to know that I have enabled the Fn+F7 shortcut on the BIOS, which "disables all sound and light producing devices" (it turns off the screen, audio and even the power LED). If I use this Fn+F7 the static noise goes away on Windows (and comes back as soon as I disable this mode). So my guess is that insulation is not an issue, since it would also happen in Ubuntu, and the Fn+F7 shortcut would not help.
I have tried to update the audio driver to the latest on Dell's website and to update Intel graphics driver to the latest beta version to no avail

Inspiron 3521 headphone jack not working properly
My headphone jack seems to be not working. The output sound is always too thin. I have tried both mono and stereo headsets and they all seem to be yielding the same result but always seem to work properly when connected to a different audio device. I have done a windows update and also have the dell update tool but nothing seems to be helping. Please help.

I am having audio problem after updating windows redstone update(XPS 15 9530)
Hello I am currently using XPS 15(9530) model bought about 2 years ago. I used to have audio problem that when I was listening some musics it made kinda high pitched scratching sound some part of song(believing bass boosted part). But after updating recent bios update I was able to solve the problem I had and had no problem with it until I updated to this new windows 10's anniversary update that came out recent.
I know i could solve this problem by deleting dell audio(MAXXAUDIO) by deleting audio driver and installing driver with that windows provides, but I don't like way it sound when I delete dell audio.(sounds like someone muffing my speaker)
I am not sure this is common problem with XPS 15(9530) users, but if there is anyone who had similar problem and solved it, could you please help me out, please?

Dell Inspiron 5537 Audio Problem
I am having problem with the audio of 5537 dell laptop. When I played music, there was no sound in speaker. When i plugged two different headsets, there was still no sound. But when i lowered the volume to 50%, there was sound with buffering, and with occasional noise. Then I lowered further to 10%, the sound was clear. When i removed the headset, plugged into jack again, there was sound static frequency like ssssssss....... and at this time of posting, the clear audio is gone, now with lower volume there is creeping noise and distorted music.
But not all was that. I performed EPSA, i listened to no sound over speakers (in the pre-boot test). That might seem speaker problem, but that would be okay, since the speakers can be replaced. The problem is why it produces sound to the lowest volume in headsets? I have updated, reinstalled, then performed twice this task, got nothing. It seems there is hardware problem. What guys do you suggest?

Mic not working (peripheral does not appear to be plugged in)
i had this problem newly, i was using my mic with Team speak 3 recently very normally but i joined ts3 and now no one hear me not sure what is the problem i have 2 mics in the Recording Tab

XPS 15 headphone jack issue
I've just bought a XPS 15, and today I realised that when I plug in headphone into the headphone jack, buzzing noise emits, and renders the headphone useless. Laptop speakers works fine, just the issue with the headphone jack.
I've tried updating the drivers to no avail. Any suggestions?

Tablet stuck in boot loop
I have a Dell Venue 10 5055 tablet.
I have had windows 10 on it since I got the tablet and never had any issues until today. A couple months back I reset it and it worked just fine. I reset it this morning only to find it in a boot loop where it shows the dell logo, then flashes an error and restarts. The error is "rebooting system to make tpm2 settings in effect"
I have tried to plug it in, unplug. I even tried to press the volume up which highlights F12 boot menu, it displays the same error and reboots. I tried going into bios with the same issue. I tried to hold the volume up and volume down to go into recovery mode and it displays a loading bar. After a few seconds it flashes the error and reboots. Not sure how it reset just fine a few months ago until this morning when my warranty expired recently. I tried contacting support and they said it would be $150 to get it sent to them so they can fix it. For $130 I can buy a used one online. Had I known I'd get this issue I wouldn't have reset it. Not sure why and what the cause might be.

Dell Inspiron 3520 - sound not working on right speaker only
I have a 3520 that was upgraded to Windows 10. It was giving just 3 beeps on post and nothing else. I replaced the system board as per Dell, and now it boots up but the right speaker is silent. The left one works fine though. I tried headphones and they work normally with sound out of both sides. I replaced the speakers but it did no good, same issue. I checked all the audio settings and they are correct. Any ideas?

Dell 15.6 Inch Gaming Laptop Static sounds

FRONT SPEAKER PROBLEM

No HDMI audio output from D3100
I am trying to connect my JMB TV to my Dell Inspiron 7559 through the D3100 docking station. I have a picture but no audio. There is no HDMI option in the Windows 10 sound device manager. When I connect the TV directly into the laptop I have no problem with audio.

Dell Audio Feature Missing
I updated my audio driver to newer version. after restarting dell audio feature is missing in control panel. without it i have lot of problems while plugging my earphone and mic on a single 3.5mm jack. my computer model is dell inspiron 5547 running windows 10pro 1511 with audio driver, realtek high definition audio driver (6.0.1.7541). Hello, I am using Dell inspiron 3543. Recently i updated windows 8 to windows 10 . In windows 8 , when i plug in any headphone it was pop-up like this .![]()
But in windows 10 there is no pop-up something like this.
* Problem : when i plug-in any headphone, it always works as a speaker. But I want it to be Mic-in . because i am not happy with the default internel mic.
